DESCRIPTION:\n\nAs we ride our bicycles on Maui from its heavenly beaches to its scenic natural wonders there are plenty of reasons to see why Maui has been voted “Best Island” by readers of Conde Nast Traveler for more than a dozen years.\nMany people have said they always wanted to go to Hawaii\, and now combining bicycling\, we can experience the perfect vacation.\n\nWe ride through the black lava fields\, which remind some people of the landscape on the moon (though so far none of the participants have actually been to the moon).\n\n\nWe enjoy a “free” day to enjoy your own personal adventure\, including the Road to Hana\, Riding down (or up) Haleakala Volcano\, Zip Lining or taking a snorkeling or scuba trip.\n\n\nOn two days due to the consistent trade winds\, we will ride part of the ride with a tailwind that normaly averages from 20 mph!\n\n\nUnpack only one time. SUMMARY:Ride Across America – California to Florida
DESCRIPTION:There are few things in life that compare to the adventure of crossing a continent on a bicycle.  This supported\, non-camping ride takes participants from the Pacific coast at San Diego\, California to the Atlantic Ocean at St. Augustine\, Florida.  This is a relatively short route of approximately 3\,000 miles.  However\, this route is abundant in aspects that excite explorers; the terrain is quite varied as are the cultures of the people riders meet as they pedal away the miles. As a rider\, you will first encounter the influences of Mexico and Native Americas as you roll east from California through the Mountains and deserts of Arizona and New Mexico.  You will find Spain has left its cultural mark in Texas and France did the same in Louisiana’s Cajun region. Once you roll into Mississippi and Alabama you will experience true southern hospitality at its best.  As you enter Florida\, the last state on your adventure\, be on the lookout for alligators and other tropical creatures.  Finally\, after 46 days you and your new friends will arrive at historic St. Augustine\, Florida\, a city first established by Spanish explorers in 1565. This quaint city is the perfect place to end the tour.  All riders will come together for the final act of this adventure\, the ceremonial dipping of front tires into the waters of the Pacific Ocean.  The ride will be over but the memories and friendships will last a lifetime. \n

DESCRIPTION:The Cycle North Carolina Coastal Ride offers participants and their families a fun-filled 3-day weekend while both on and off the bike. Start your day by hopping on your bike and exploring one of the many fully supported routes this ride has to offer. Each day will feature a variety of routes ranging anywhere from 5 miles to 100 miles. The flat roads and minimal traffic counts will allow you to fully experience all of the sights and sounds of Little Washington and the surrounding area including an abundance of coastal wildlife and many historic sites that are deeply rooted to the local communities.\nThe Town of Little Washington embodies rich history\, natural beauty and quaint southern culture\, setting the stage for a wondrous cycling weekend getaway.  Routes will explore areas such as Historic Bath\, North Carolina’s oldest town\, and a variety of other Inner Banks towns such as Aurora\, Belhaven\, Chocowinity\, Grimesland and many more! \nDowntown Little Washington and the waterfront campsites\, located on the banks of the Tar and Pamlico rivers\, will be the enterainment hub for the weekend.  Enjoy majestic waterfront views and magnificent sunrises as you peer through your tent each morning before heading out for a ride.  Indoor camping is available in the Washington Civic Center.  All camping locations are conveniently located within a short walk or bicycle ride to downtown\, which houses a variety of local restaurants and shops.  In addition\, just a few miles away\, there are multiple lodging options\, from hotels and motels to bed & breakfast inns. \nParticipants can be assured that the town will have an abundance of activities planned over the course of the weekend.
